The Lou: Major Storms Rip Through Saint Louis

From The Post, where you can read the entire story. Seems Jesus is still mad about that Webbie concert:

A powerful storm bringing a mix of heavy rain, hail and tornadoes through the St. Louis area caused structural damage to homes in St. Louis and St. Charles counties.

The storm caused a large hole in the roof at the main terminal at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, which has been closed indefinitely. Windows have been blown out and power outages have been reported at the airport as well.

About 47,500 Ameren customers are without power in Missouri, mostly in north St. Louis County and St. Charles County. About 3,500 power outages are being reported in Illinois.

A tornado reportedly caused damage to about two dozen homes north of New Melle in St. Charles County, said Michael Cooper, a supervisor at St. Charles County’s 911 center. The extent of the damage to the homes varied.

Highways T and Z in St. Charles County also have been closed, said Ina Obenland of St. Charles County Emergency Management.

Metro suspended train service to Lambert after the storm hit. The transit agency is also warning that bus service to north St. Louis County is sporadic because of downed trees and power lines.

Reports of power outages, downed power lines and trees are being reported around Airport Road in Berkeley. About 50 homes suffered some damage. Some people are reportedly trapped in their homes. People arriving late Friday to check on relatives were stymied by downed trees and power lines and the smell of what seemed to be leaking gas lines.

On lighter note, Dutch was on his Stanley Kubric shit w/ that music. Hah!
